Atmospheric Scientist, Human-Centered Weather Forecasts

Atmospheric Scientist, Human-Centered Weather Forecasts will lead the development of AI-powered forecasts for monsoon onset, precipitation, and extreme heat. It will combine AI and scientific models to deliver accurate, actionable weather forecasts at scale.

Associate Director, Human Centered Weather Forecast Initiative

Associate Director, Human Centered Weather Forecast Initiative will support the development and evaluation of AI-powered weather forecasts, particularly for predicting monsoon onset in India. It will help test and refine forecast dissemination strategies in collaboration with climate scientists, AI experts, and economists.

Policy and Research Manager

Policy and Research Manager will support the development of economics research and policy projects in India in collaboration with Michael Kremer and other researchers. The Policy and Research Manager will contribute to DIL-India’s policy-engagement efforts and research projects.

Senior Research Manager

Senior Research Manager will support the development of economics research and policy projects in India in collaboration with Michael Kremer and other researchers. The Senior Research Manager will help manage DIL-India’s research projects in one or multiple states. The Senior Research Manager will also support policy engagements with state governments, central government and other DIL partners.

Associate Director, Programs, Operations and Finance

Oversee smooth operations and programs management at DIL-India. Responsibilities include project financial management, grants management, program reporting, donor management, and support to staffing and recruitment processes.

Senior Associate Director, Research and Policy

Oversee research implementation and policy engagement across portfolios, from study design and data collection, through stakeholder dissemination and evidence update.

Predoctoral Associate

Support scoping and research implementation efforts for DIL India’s projects in education, weather forecasting/digital agriculture, safe water, and other areas. The role is designed to aid pre-doctoral associates in preparation for their Ph.D. and offers valuable exposure to assist in determining the possible pursuit of a different professional path.

Senior Research Associate

Collaborate on new and ongoing development economics research projects, including leading scoping and research implementation for DIL-India’s research portfolio. Potential for supervisory responsibilities.
