Associate Director, Human Centered Weather Forecast Initiative

Support DIL-India's weather forecasting initiatives by implementing research projects and maintaining relationships with government and development partners. This role requires 7+ years of experience and focuses on expanding AI-based weather forecasting programs that have already reached 40 million farmers across India.

Associate Director, Programs, Operations and Finance

Oversee smooth operations and programs management at DIL-India. Responsibilities include project financial management, grants management, program reporting, donor management, and support to staffing and recruitment processes.

Senior Associate Director, Research and Policy

Oversee research implementation and policy engagement across portfolios, from study design and data collection, through stakeholder dissemination and evidence update.

Agronomist

Support projects under the weather portfolio with focus on agriculture. Work with researchers from economics, meteorology, and climate science to identify weather events that matter most to farmers across India's diverse agro-climatic zones.

Policy & Research Manager - Scientific Partnerships

Manage and co-create scientific partnerships with government entities focused on disseminating weather forecasts to farmers across India. This role will support policy projects in collaboration with Professors Michael Kremer and William Boos, contributing to DIL-India's multi-state policy-engagement and research efforts.

Predoctoral Associate

Support scoping and research implementation efforts for DIL India’s projects in education, weather forecasting/digital agriculture, safe water, and other areas. The role is designed to aid pre-doctoral associates in preparation for their Ph.D. and offers valuable exposure to assist in determining the possible pursuit of a different professional path.

Senior Research Associate

Collaborate on new and ongoing development economics research projects, including leading scoping and research implementation for DIL-India’s research portfolio. Potential for supervisory responsibilities.
